The Junior Lone Star Football Academy is a low-cost/cost-free program that aims to assist with the development of the best talents in Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
The programs are intended to assist dedicated and talented players reach their goals at the collegiate and/or professional level.
Comprised of four teams (U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19), Academy players will train a minimum of three times a week and will compete in leagues, cup competitions, and tournaments over the weekends.
- The U-19s will compete in the Atlantic Premier League (APL) as well as the EPYSA U-19 State Cup
- The U-17s will compete in the Atlantic Premier League (APL) as well as the EPYSA U-17 State Cup
- The U-15s will compete in the Atlantic Premier League (APL) as well as the EPYSA U-15 State Cup
- The U-13s will compete in the Atlantic Premier League (APL) as well as the EPYSA U-13 State Cup
The goal of the Junior Lone Star Football Academy is to develop youth players who will gain technical expertise, tactical awareness and professional discipline that will help them advance to collegiate and/or professional soccer teams.
There are no try-outs per se but players are selected to teams based on their hard work and dedication at practices and games.
We add players throughout the year and we currently practice at the McCreesh Playground Field in southwest Philadelphia and the Penn Wood Middle School in Darby.
